Is it really worth joining a gym? It’s a question I often ask myself. I can’t help but feel I could get the same results exercising from home without the extra strain on my finances. I’m sure that this is a common feeling that people have. So for both my benefit and yours I have put together a list of the pros and cons of having a gym membership.
- You will have instant access to a lot of different equipment.
- The social benefits can be great as most people would be there for the same reason as you.
- Exercise classes can be a great way to get fit and make friends at the same time.
- Most gyms offer some form of fitness plan or personal trainers, usually at an extra cost.
- Having a place to go can be a brilliant way to unwind.
- You can be paying out a lot of money for some Gyms.
- It’s not always easy to fit gyms in around a busy lifestyle.
- From personal experience I have found that you can end up spending a lot of time waiting around for equipment to become available.
So that is my list of pros and cons, I hope you found this helpful. Feel free to add more of your own opinions about whether you think gyms are worth the time and money. Also subscribe if you would like to be informed about future content.
